New theme in January - forest animals
Here there will be a small new play area and new "crowns" for use during gathering time. Trying a new way to make a crown with elastic at the back - new for me.
Then our sofa has become a boat where the children can fish (stick + thread + clothespin + laminated pictures of fishermen). Here is also a tip on renewing walls temporarily - set up large sheets to paint on - here are woods and sails for the boat. This immediately became a popular playground and the children have already played for several hours here even though it was finished yesterday! The room is small but surely it can be used for a lot of role play, we have had doctor play, hairdressers, police play and much more!
