New life for an old IKEA shelf in the toddler ward with 1- and 2-year-olds. There are several people who have wondered about the procedure, I have done it like this:
Drilled hole and attached wheel (bought on a car theme) with bolt and nut, so that you get blunt ends on both edges and the wheels spin easily. The steering wheel is a lid for a 10 liter bucket that I have used a long screw on, and fixed a nut between the shelf and the lid so that it moves around more easily. The lights are from clas ohlson, they are battery operated and are attached with tape that is on them when you buy them. Otherwise, I have printed and laminated pictures that I have stuck on.
