The youngest children at Bambini Piccoli (1-2 years)

In Steinkjer Montessori kindergarten, we have digital creativity as our theme in January and February. The youngest children at Bambini Piccoli (1-2 years) also work with winter, ice and snow during these months.

Here we have combined the themes in winter pictures with pictures of the children on them, following inspiration here at Idebroen. The children have painted themselves with a brush and sponge, using a stencil with holes in it to create the snow crystals. The stencil is made from lamination sheets that have been laminated and punched with a punching machine. The pictures were taken while they were playing outside in the snow, printed out and pasted onto the children's painting.
The children think it is a great pleasure to look at the pictures of themselves on the wall.
