1-year-old-friendly celebration of Sami people's day
1-year-old-friendly marking of Sami people's day in Rygin kindergarten today. We have focused on the colors of the flag and listened to a lot of Sami music.
The whole kindergarten danced a Sami dance we found on YouTube a few years ago, which we have made our own. It is easy for the children to learn, the children find the song catchy and we have been dancing to it for many years. Video of the dance for those interested. Would have liked to have shown a video of all the fine children in our kindergarten who danced this dance together with self-made Sami headdresses (each in their own outdoor area with their cohort) This year we were also able to dance the Blime dance in Sami. Hurrah for the Sami people tomorrow!
