In my eyes, this is a well-planned summer activity
Take the opportunity to make a bunch of snowballs, then put them in a large box with a lid. Put it in the freezer and then take it out again in the summer.
By putting them together with toothpicks, you can conjure up a whole snowman/lady family. Then you can call yourself superman/woman, and then fly to the North Pole to collect snow. A light jog into the freezer to collect some, and things are underway. Have done this before, and it creates incredible curiosity in the children. Try this one!
