We talked recycling and reuse
Since we can't bring the children to the store to pledge bottles, we made our own pledge machine. We talked recycling and reuse. Everyone got their own environmental network and "money".
Then they went to the "soft drink shop" to buy soft drinks. The next task was to hand in the bottles into the deposit machine, and to get a deposit slip with you. They could shop for the note in another shop. This was an activity that the children really enjoyed. Nice learning!
