Did you know that the Easter Bunny is actually a small bird called Lepus. She was transformed by the goddess of spring, to get away from the hunter Orion.
When spring came, Lepus missed laying eggs. The spring goddess then decided that one day a year Lepus would be allowed to lay eggs. Specifically at Easter.
So today a magical gathering was held where the children could hear the story!
