We have started with this week's focus book, and have had the coolest Gruffalo week! 3 year group. * We have read the book * Get to know the characters. What are their names, where do they live. * A little singing, music and dancing to the gruffalo song.
* Adventure table where the children could play with the character from the book.
* Map of the gruffalo forest where you can follow the timeline of the story in the order in which the animals meet each other in the forest.
* Made "gruffalo hats".
* Gruffalo memory game.
*Went on the "Gruffalo tour" in the forest where we met all the characters along the way, it was in the form of teddy bears that were deployed in the forest along the path to our tour site. Afterwards we played hide and seek and other fun with the teddy bears in the forest.
* Cut, paste and color the characters from the book.
* Gruffalo app with various tasks. Among other things, three-in-a-row and memory games.
