Cut ready felt in red, white and blue
This year, 2018, the children have made their own May 17 flags with felt (we have made a flag as a template in advance, and cut the finished felt in red, white and blue.
The children chose entirely themselves how the flag should look, they measured the finished pieces of felt and also chose the color combination themselves. All we did was glue with a glue gun.
A few weeks ago we planted e.g. sugar snap peas and squash. Now the children have each decorated their flower pot in red, white and blue and brought it home, including the plant that needs to be looked after!
