We work with boundary objects
We are working with boundary objects in connection with habituation in my kindergarten. Parents received a picture of the goat kid at the parents' meeting in May and are encouraged to use the book before kindergarten starts.
We have made a "movie" on iMovie (iPhone) where we have taken pictures of each page (each illustration) and read in the text of each picture. This is shared with parents so that everyone can get to know the pictures and text regardless of whether they have the book themselves and what language they speak at home.
