Autumn is chestnut time

Autumn is chestnut time

Autumn is chestnut time! We have gone for a walk in the local area and picked a lot, so we can use them throughout the autumn and towards Christmas for creative shaping activities, language and maths games with the oldest children.

Here they have made dream catchers/spider webs. All you need are chestnuts, nails and yarn. The children only got help with attaching nails to the chestnuts and attaching twine. Wonderfully unique each and every one of them.
