In the local thrift store, I got hold of some bricks in different heights, prepared for gnome production.
We found that they could become both gnomes and angels. There weren't many opportunities in this material to make it personal, but the fact that the children drew and cut out the eyes themselves made the gnomes and angels very charming and personal. It is the 5-year-olds who are the masters of these beings.
