Our history

Åsbråten Kindergarten lives on a historic site from the Stone Age, so it is natural that we have this as our theme and learn more about our history.

3 minutes away from the nursery a flint has been found from this time and we have seen how high the water has gone. We have had a meeting and looked at pictures of what it hunted and ate and which animals they had to kill to get clothes. The animals that lived at that time are still around us. The children have been able to feel reindeer skins and hold flint stones. So now there will be a lot of exciting things to create; tools, clothes among other things and talk about this in the future!
