On Thursdays we have "game day" with a mixture of mathematical and linguistic development as the focus with the theme of sorting. Within the theme, there is a lot of play-based learning in which the children have shown a greater and greater interest.
We started by sorting colors and then moved on to, among other things, shapes, numbers, sizes, letter sounds, rhyming words, etc. The activities were arranged according to gross and fine motor tasks, puzzles, competitions and excitement with a strong focus on cooperation . The pictures below show some examples of what we did.
