Sugar test
Good, old-fashioned germination test and planting of sugar peas with variables.
After all plants had the same "start", we divided them into 4 groups (with water and light, without water and light, with water but no light with light but no water) and followed for a couple of weeks. It became the talk of the entire kindergarten, even though the project was originally intended for 4 children, of which two 3-year-olds and two 4-year-olds. The plants that survived the experiment were planted together. I looked after them on the weekends and kept them alive. The question is whether eager children's hands allow them to grow further... Anyway, pretty cool!
