The room as the third educator
What do we offer the children when they come to kindergarten. At us, we try to be aware of what meets the children when they arrive at the nursery in the morning.
It takes so little time to lay small traces that can provide impulses for play and learning for the children. On Friday, I chose to post a play environment with the goats and some books. Calm music, subdued lighting and string lights helped set the mood in the dressing room. Language stimulation and creative expression for our 1-3 year olds.
