This year we decided not to have a set theme, but to follow the children's interests and work with what the children themselves are interested in.
When there was a lot of road work at the nursery, it first involved a lot of work vehicles and "jobbers", before it slipped almost imperceptibly into crocodile. We have been working on this for a while now, and the children are far from finished. The children tell stories about crocodiles in the local area, some claim we have one in our outdoor area, and the children are very engaged.
