And it is always popular. You can create your own ladder game, either on PC, or you can also draw ladder games yourself, or together with the children.
I have made ladder games with ladders and snakes, and this is how you play:

• Each player has a checker that is placed at the start. We roll the dice in turn, and move the piece the number shown on the dice.
• As you move the piece over, you say the words/pictures that come to mind.
• If you land on a field with a ladder you climb up.
• If you land on the snake's head, you slide down to the tip of the snake's tail.
• Whoever reaches the finish line first has won
