First aid for tired hops!

This morning found the kids this rascal crawling on the window sill in the department. It had enough trying to get out all night.

And was completely exhausted. Reacted almost as it was lifted out on the stairs. We had read about that tired bumblebees need sugar, so we put it on a banana peel, soaked in sugar water. This licked it eagerly, and after 10-15 minutes it flew away.
