Fantastic Christmas balls
Yarn, cornstarch, water, balloon and glitter = wonderful Christmas balls. (Boil the cornstarch and water, and put the glitter in the glue).
On request: the 4- and 5-year-olds made these.
I don't know the quantity ratios. Have boiled up a few dl. water, and whipped in the cornstarch until it has a nice glue consistency, and added glitter. Cut off suitably long threads of yarn and dip them in the glue (when it has cooled). The balloon is inflated to the desired size. Be sure to use enough yarn!
