Last project
The learning workshop Kjøkkelvik Barnehage is open all summer, and these six boys now have the last week before their holiday.
It can be long days with few children and few adults in the kindergarten - and for a group that has actually finished kindergarten and is ready for school, projects and activities are gold. Today the boys and I had a rock band project. We agreed that this band should be a rock band with only guitars, and everyone had an idea of what their guitar should look like. I drew guitars so that guys could get their thoughts down on paper. These guitars had to be made real, of course, and with rock on the speakers, it was just a matter of getting around and finding paint and brushes. If it's a concert, it's a concert - so while the guitars were drying, we made tickets for all the children and adults in the kindergarten the boys of course got to go around to their fans and hand out the tickets themselves. It was a fantastic outdoor concert especially for the rock stars.
