We have created a sensory room!

It started in the spring when we needed some ideas for what we should find in this kindergarten year with the theme of relational skills and play.

We have a colleague who had been in Sandvika at Emmas Sansehus with her daughter due to illness, and we thought this was a good idea for us, who have several vacant rooms because we are based in an old school, and because we want to make the children "relax" in a sufficiently stimulating room. A room of approx. 50-55m2 that is filled with white things that stimulate the tactile, vestibular, kinesthetic, visual and auditory senses. The white room surprisingly invites calm and relaxation, as well as body awareness.
