Excited when the crown is in place
In our kindergarten, we like to "adapt" the children's birthday crowns according to what they are interested in/like. They get extra excited when the crown is in place.
And they can see it. Here are two random birthday crowns for a real princess and for a real "Emil i Lønneberget" fan.
