Department Mauren in Øygardsvatnet kindergarten marks Sami people's day. We have the book of the month which is Elva and the beautiful bird, listening to joik.

We have Ailo and Elle as mascots who meet us on trips and in gatherings, they tell fairy tales and about Sami traditions.
