The best thing about creativity is the many opportunities we have, the freedom to create something of our own, make their expressions, get the chance to create something based on their abilities.
Here the children have brought stones and small sticks from a trip before last autumn/winter, in the garden we dried them and painted them and sprinkled on some glitter in some places, let them dry and then they just lay there. But today we had this opportunity then, to create something based on the abilities we had. First I made one, and then the children came to want to make them too. I used a glue gun, the children pointed out where things should be and in some places they put them on themselves. They drew themselves and one boy said that mine should also dance, the legs of the bird were crossed, so there were also notes - creativity has no limits, here you have to use your imagination, this is how we create artists. Lovely little artists.
