The back of an Ikea shelf can be nicely painted as a background for "The Three Goats Shower" and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".
Found the figures on cut-out sheets on versatile Google. Enlarged and laminated them, attached velcro to the figures and "scenery". And suddenly the game was on. At first the adventures separately, but eventually both the troll and the goats went to visit the three bears. Play and imagination are created here, which are carried on into other play as well!
