Make two small holes for ropes, I think it is easier to use thick elastic for children to take them on and off. I painted all the cardboard blue first, dried and had my friend decorate them! These are really nice wings, but I think it can be just as nice if children decorate directly on the cardboard. Great to have at a birthday party or when learning about butterflies. Can make fantasy wings, bird wings, butterfly wings or bat wings. The point is to have fun, while also showing the children that you don't always need to buy a costume!
