Mother's Day
In practice at the nursery where I am deployed, we have spent the last two days making cards for Mother's Day.
Age: 1-3 years
Equipment: paint, ruler, thick paper in cardboard, coffee filter, glitter, glue and natural materials.
The children painted coffee filters which we turned into flowers when the paint had dried. Then we applied glue and glitter.
The card is painted using paint drops and a ruler.
When the card was completed, I pasted in pictures of the process. So that mum/mother can get an insight into the fantastic sensory experience for the child!
