I told them I have lost my card
Today, some of the children noticed that I was a little restless. I told them I lost my card and those who found it chose to spend the money instead of finding out who it belonged to.
It was money that I was supposed to use to visit my family. Some of the children sat in the art corner while I cooked, and then they came away with money that they had made. With a sweet smile, they said that they had saved money for me so that I can buy food and travel. It makes me so happy and calm because it confirms that I work in the right place, a place filled with so much genuine love.
