Mother Language Day
We at Kjølstad bhg in Fredrikstad have today marked International Mother Language Day. The wards were decorated with flags and posters and the children got to see and hear songs and fairy tales in different languages.
Our three beautiful ladies from Kurdistan had dressed in national costumes and they taught Kurdish dance. Parents had cooked lots of delicious food from their home countries. The children and the adults think it is so wonderful to experience this diversity. A brilliant day in the nursery.
