I came across some large sheets of plastic packaging from some wrapped glass doors (ask craftsmen, they throw away so many strange things).
I cut it up into different sizes. bites. The children loved the project, building with the light plastic material (We also found some straws which we cut up) gave many opportunities to build both in height and flat, and easy to cut for the children too. First they cut and glued it together, and the most fun was painting the artwork after the glue dried. I attached a loop of steel wire, so that they could hang it up at home.
