Some photos to inspire the theme Vikings

We started in January up with the theme Vikings along with the older children in our nursery. We have made some equipment and costumes that we used in conjunction.

With the carnival this year. (Alternatively carnival) as well as created a timeline with the coarsest details of his travels and the familiar characters from the saga. Also have been using some of the stories from the local community here in the area. We have been much visited gods and Norse mythology, what it was like to be children in the Viking Age, ships, houses and burial mounds. And much more. This is certainly a topic that has appealed to here with us.
